Questions About Orders
Nothing is more irritating than an iron-on patch that will not adhere, but this does happen. Especially with waterproof or stretchy materials with a lot of polyester or lycra. When the adhesive doesn’t hold due to fabric choice or after wear and tear, we recommend a glue called E6000, available at most hardware and big- box retail stores. You can use that to tack down any finicky spots, or put it on the bottom of the patch all over for total adhesion.
Since our products are created to order, we are unable to provide refunds or exchanges for things like fit, shipping delays or a changed mind. If the product is damaged during shipping or if you have a quality issue, please contact us directly so we can make sure you receive the best quality item.
Each type of item is produced by a different, U.S.-based print provider. As different items are produced in different facilities, they will ship separately with their own individual tracking numbers.
All items are printed on demand at various facilities across the U.S. Each product is made to order, and our shipping works as follows: each item type has a base shipping cost, and each item has a per-item cost charged to us by our providers. We try to make it seamless on your end by presenting a single figure for shipping, but if you have questions please reach out and we’re happy to look at the shipping profile for you.
With the exception of our iron-on patches, all items are printed on demand at various facilities across the U.S. This can result in multiple order confirmation emails/order numbers. Each order will have its own tracking and fulfillment information, and items aren’t guaranteed to be shipped out at the same time.
Website Questions
When we moved off of Etsy and deleted our products, it would have caused any items in your favorite list or cart to also be removed. That being said, we encourage you to explore our design library and online shop, and favorite items as you go along!
If you previously ordered from us on Etsy or on version 1 of our website, your order history won’t be available in the new platform. If you need something looked up, just contact us and we’ll see if we can help out. If you ordered on Etsy, your order history will still be available there for your review. Once you register an account, you’ll be able to see your account information including orders.
The decison to leave Etsy was not something we did on a whim or took lightly. Etsy has decided to restrict most adult content you could find on their platform, which resulted in the immediate need for us to move to a new platform. If we had not, it’s likely that most of our products would have been removed for content violations, or our store would have been eventually shut down. Our current website is a second iteration meant to increase loading speed and make the site substantially more stable.
Modeling and “Get Bottom’d, On Demand” Commissions
We offer a few ways you can get a picture of yourself done in the Burly Bottom Designs aesthetic:
- Slide into our DM’s — feel free to reach out to us on Facebook or Instagram if you’re interested in modeling. We are always accepting submissions, but will use the photo at the artist’s discretion. If your photo is selected, it will appear on a variety of products. Models get a permanent 15% off discount (excluding Get Bottom’d Commissions).
- Annual “Get Bottom’d” Contest — every spring, we hold our annual “Get Bottom’d” contest. Followers from our social media channels submit photos for consideration, and then Burly Bottom Designs will judge each photo and select a top three. Then we hold a community vote to determine the winner, who will have their likeness captured on our products. Winners will receive a free tee or tank with their portrait, and the top three will each receive a lifetime 15% off discount code.
- “Get Bottom’d On Demand” Commissions — the last way to get your portrait done is to purchase a “Get Bottom’d On Demand” commission. Commissions run $50, and can be paired with any of our products. Shipping of the add-on item is included in the cost.
Custom or Personalizable Products
Currently, the only products we sell that are fully customizable are our embroidered, iron-on patches. You can customize the colors of hair, beard, clothing, gear or accessories. You may also be able to create a custom patch with your name or handle.
Not every design will work or read well on every item that we sell from our product catalog. However, if there is a design that you like on a product you can’t find, contact us. We may be able to get that created and listed for you within a few days to allow for ordering.
There are many products in our shop where the customer is unable to change the background color or pattern. Currently the only items that can change the background color are tees, tanks, and hats. And iron-on patches are fully customizable including hair and gear colors.
We have selected the background colors or pattern for all other products. If there is something you’d like to see in a different color, reach out to us and we’ll be happy to accommodate you when able to do so.
